Job Description

As Felix O’Hare & Co continues to grow and develop, we are seeking an enthusiastic Digital Construction Coordinator, to join the Digital Construction Department at our Head Office in Newry, Northern Ireland.

The Digital Construction Co-Ordinator will be part of the BIM Department and will support and lead some activities within the team. Typical activities will be supporting project teams on all aspects of BIM compliance through to supporting the use of Digital Construction technologies that underpins the construction site team delivery. Including Management of our CDE, clash detection processes and field-verification. This includes the management and delivery of BIM responsibilities from bid stage through to project completion, handover, and soft landings.

The role will require travel to sites across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. This is to aid in Site Progress Meeting, Coordination Reviews, and training across site teams. They are the go-to person for technical knowledge and innovative solutions, handling a wide range of Digital construction activities, include presenting, training and problem solving to motivate and encourage colleagues to use Digital software effectively.


  • Support the production, management and compliance of BIM Policy and strategy in line with ISO19650 requirements.
  • Support and take responsibility for the use Specialist BIM software to support project delivery.
  • Identify and highlight project risks in terms of BIM delivery against standards.
  • Capture best practices, workflows, lessons learned and communicate it within the organisation and to the team members.
  • Support in the identification of appropriate hardware and software for use on BIM Projects.
  • Drone Flights as required on projects as required by the Project Manager.

Candidate Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction, Building Services or another related field.
  • Understanding of PAS1192 and ISO:19650 Standards.
  • Management of a Common Data Environment.
  • Use of BIM related Software such as Revit, Navisworks, Solibri.
  • Knowledge of Digital Technologies including drones and laser scanning (Use of each preferable but not essential).
  • Valid driving licence.
