Old See House, Belfast

The works consist of the construction of a new two storey integrated mental health regional centre for the Northern Ireland Health & Social Services Authority for the Belfast Health & Social Care Trust with associated car parking and landscaping.

The works involved the construction of a two storey mental health unit incorporating an 8 bed residential unit, day care clinic facilities with associated office and back of house areas. The gross internal floor area is approximately 2152 m².
 

KEY FEATURES

  • The fixtures and fittings of the building are anti-ligature.
  • vibro-column stone piles with in-situ concrete foundation trenches and pads together with a reinforced ground floor slab
  • Structural steel frame and associated fixings 
  • Masonry internal and external walls
  • Precast concrete upper floors
  • Combination of timberand concrete roof structures and associated roof coverings 
  • Precast concrete stairs and landing units with associated finishings
  • Fitted furniture (all anti-ligature) and signage
  • In-situ concrete retaining wall to rear of site
